There may be some things that are just too big to recycle, but the Henley Bridge isn't one of them. At least that applies to the steel reinforcing structures in the bridge. As the bridge is dismantled, those pieces are being salvaged, melted down and processed by the Gerdau minimill in Knoxville into new structural forms that will go into the rebuilt bridge.
