Australian thermal coal prices 1980 to 2009

The figures represent average monthly export prices for thermal coal (also called 'steam coal'). Coal is Australian, 1200 btu/pound, less than 1% sulfur 14% ash, with prices stated f.o.b. Newcastle/Port Kembla and expressed in US $/metric tonne.

The attachment contains all the monthly prices for this period of almost 30 years.
