Steel demand analysis Italy 1998 - 2010

Steel demand in Italy amounted to ~23.7 mt in 1998. By 2010, Italian steel consumption had increased to 30.1 million tonnes.

An analysis [prepared by MCI] is shown over this period of production, import, export and consumption of finished steel products. This analysis covers plate, hot rolled coil, hot rolled strip, cold rolled coil, coated steel, railway track material, heavy sections, reinforcing bar, wire rod, seamless tube and welded tube.
