World HBI shipments 2009

An analysis is shown of 2009 deliveries and purchases of HBI (hot briquetted iron) for 2009. This shown world shipments (excluding in-house demand) of 6.05 million metric tonnes, with Asia accounting for ~2.7 mt of purchases and Venezuela the largest supplier of merchant HBI with shipments of ~2.84 million tonnes.
