We recently published a 104 page report about capex costs in the steel industry. The report covers the capital costs of DRI, BF, BOF, EAF, continuous casting, hrc production, bar rolling, cold rolling, coating ... as well as much auxilliary plant such as degassing station, ladle furnace, power plant, waste water treatment plant ... and more. For each facilitiy, we tell you average $ cost at end-2010, as well as cost per tonne. |
