Dr B.S. Dana revealed Dana Group�s investment plans in India at Steel Conclave 2012.

Steel Conclave 2012 brought Steel giants from India, technology providers from Europe and US and Foreign investors in Steel sector together at The Leela Kempenski Hotel at Gurgaon. Additional secretary and Financial Advisor Ministry of Steel government of India, Mr. S Machendranathan inaugurated Steel Conclave 2012. Conclave begin on a grand note with opening speech from eight prominent speakers .Speakers were Dr SR Jain( Former Chairman of SAIL),Dr VR Sharma(CEO & Dy. MD Steel Business of JSPL),Mr. KK Mehrotra (CMD of MECON Limited),Dr B.S. Dana( NRI from Dubai, MD of Dana Group Dubai), Mr. Arvind Kumar Jain(Chairman of Bhilai Engineering Corp), Mr. Tad Sendzmir (CEO of T Sendzimir Inc USA), Mr. Jens Kempken (Executive Vice President of SMS Siemag Germany).

Conclave started on April 16th and was attended by almost 400 participants from 170 companies. Dr B.S Dana revealed his investment plans in India in the opening speech .Dana Steels Pvt. Ltd , a subsidiary of DANA Group headquartered Dubai is coming up with a State-of-art Continuous Color Coating line with world�s best technology at Bhiwadi in Rajasthan state. Dana Color Coating Line will have installed capacity of 3,00,000 MT per annum. It shall feed Dana�s manufacturing plant of Profiles and also shall meet the requirements of white goods manufacturer and automotive industries.

Currently, Dana Steels Pvt. Ltd is manufacturing Cable Trays, Perforated sheets, Pipes and Tubes, Scaffolding and Formwork along with other Fabrication jobs. Dr B.S. Dana is eyeing India for future investments .Dr B.S. Dana says� India and Africa have huge demand for Steel intermediates and finished products. With 6% GDP growth, demand in steel is expected to increase only .Dana Steels Pvt. Ltd is dedicated to produce steel in India. This way we provide job to our Indian people, add to GDP of country and meet the national and international demand. As an Indian, I would prefer India for heavy investments�.
