Example format

The table above shows the format of the continuous casting cost model. This model estimates conversion costs for the production of billet, bloom or slab from liquid steel.

If required, the model may be linked to crude / liquid steel or ladle furnace cost models; or to other downstream models, e.g. for hot rolling of billet or slab (for production of bar or hot rolled coil).
