Other information: Elme Metall - a subsidiary of BLRT - was founded in 2001. Product sales include flat products, steel profiles, pipes and hollow sections, rebars and wire mesh, cold-formed profiles, stainless steel and aluminium.

The company has 14 warehouses with facilities in Estonia (Tallinn, Maardu, Tartu, Parnu and Kohtla-Jarve), Latvia (Riga and Daugavpils), Lithuania (Vilnius, Kaunas, Siauliai and Klaipeda), Poland (Szczecin), Russia (Kaliningrad) and Finland (Parola).

• 2021: March saw the completion of a project at the Elme Metall service centre in Vilnius. Installation was completed of a new bath for hot-dip galvanizing of various parts and structures. The new hot-dip galvanizing bath is 13 metres long, 1,6 metres wide, and 3 metres deep and is one of the largest in Eastern Europe. State-of-the-art crane equipment available at the centre allows using the bath to process metal parts weighing up to 12.5 tonnes.
• 2020: The firm participated in the construction of a wind farm in Lithuania. Some 1,263 tons of rebar and wire mesh were supplied for installation of foundation structures.
