This database comprises over 1000 records of up- and downstream steel industry investments made in recent years in flat, long and tubular products. Facilities include sinter plants, coke batteries, DRI units, blast furnaces, basic oxygen furnaces, electric arc furnaces, induction furnaces, and continuous casters.

In flat products were have capex cost data for heavy plate mills, hot strip mills, cold rolling mills [tandem and reversing], hot dip galvanising lines, tinplate lines, and organic coating lines.

For long products our capex data records cover heavy section mills, rail, steel bar, wire rod, and wire. We also have data for welded pipe and seamless tube.

Raw material plant items extend to pellet plants, coal washing plants, lime plants, PCI, and pig iron desulphurization units.
